Amethyst Edge has come into being out of the passion and life work of owner and founder Laurie Teggart. Laurie is the co-founder of the BODiWORKS CENTRE located in Mississauga since 1998 which, since its inception, has serviced thousands of clients in the area of specialized wellness and exercise prescription. She is also the Vice President of Freedom Initiatives Health Corp. established in 2001 offering a successful integration of heath advisers who work together to service individuals and corporations in meeting their goals in the area of health, personalized wellness education and self improvement.
Amethyst Edge is a sister company to these businesses and focuses on helping individuals understand the metaphysical power of unconscious mind and its function in health, pain management, attainment of goals and alignment of the natural transformational healing energies available through the use of mind. These areas of self empowerment are accessible using tools like hypnosis, self hypnosis, meditation, guided imagery and visualization which are part of the foundation of service here at Amethyst Edge.
